Our show certainly did sparkle and shine! With musical songs and Christmas songs, together with acting and dancing, our young people were amazing! Some of them hadn’t been on the stage before, but you wouldn’t know it! Thank you to everyone who came along to support us.

We had such a lot of fun at our Halloween Party! Thank you to everyone who came along. We played lots of fun games and activities, we sang and we danced!

Musicals Workshop – 12.07.25
We had a lot of fun being “naughty” and “wicked” looking at 2 of our favourite musicals. We sang and danced and played fun drama games. Thank you to everyone who came along!
Sherlock & Cinders – 28-29.06.25
Since January, we have been rehearsing for Sherlock & Cinders – an enchanting musical mystery. What fun we all had! Every single child on the stage shone, had fun and made new friends along the way.
As well as singing, acting and dancing, they were also helping with props and staging. This show was a real teamwork event and we are all very proud of everyone.

Stagezone’s Cracker Show – 14.12.2024
Although we had to postpone our show a week due to the windy weather, our young people at Stagezone danced, sang and acted their hearts out to a sold out audience! We certainly brought the Christmas spirit! Thank you for coming to support us.
Christmas Market Performance – 14.12.2024
We were delighted to be asked to perform at the Farmyard Christmas market in Truro! Thank you for all your lovely comments. It was lovely to see you all.
Halloween Costume Party – 27.10.2024
We had a lot of fun at our first Halloween Party! Everyone’s costumes looked amazing. We played Halloween games, activities and we learned some iconic dance moves to a famous Halloween song. There was even a crime scene to investigate! Thank you to everyone who came! Here are some of the things which parents said about the event – “both children had a wonderful time”, “our daughter had the best time, thank you”, “so lovely for the children to have somewhere to be”, and “the girls had a lovely time”.
Musical Theatre Workshop – 18.08.2024
We sang and danced to songs from “Annie” and “Oliver” and had lots of fun. Thank you to everyone who came along!
Acting Workshop – 22.06.2024
We had a lot of fun on our improvisation and characterisation workshop, using masks and a retro telephone. Thank you all for coming!
About Time – 15-16.06.2024
We had a blast performing our brand-new musical show “About Time”! With lots of fun, singing, dancing and acting, this show was very well received, and everyone did a fantastic job! Thank you as always for all of your support.
Musical Theatre Workshop – 07.04.2024
Wow, what an afternoon we had at our Musical Theatre Workshop! We learned about Musical Theatre, in particularly looking at 2 shows, Oliver and Matilda. We sang and danced to a couple of songs and talked about characterisation while acting out a couple of scenes. We also played drama games and got quite competitive while playing the key game! Can’t wait for the next Musical Theatre Workshop in August!

Winter Show – 10.12.2023
Our Winter Show was a sell out! We performed our Christmas play, acted, danced and sang with such expression and energy. Well done everyone!
Summer Term Fun – 08.07.2023
As well as playing lots of fun games, we were excited to have Benji Matthews join us for a song-writing workshop! We all contributed to writing a song about Stagezone and what it means to be in our group. Thank you so much Benji!
The Baker Street Irregulars – 27-28.05.2023
We were delighted to have performed our first full show on a stage! Everyone who came to see the show was blown away by the confidence and talent of all the cast. We had such a lot of fun speaking in a cockney accent and acting like Victorian street kids. Thank you to everyone for supporting us and for raising a total of £271.80 from donations and raffles. This money will go towards future shows and opportunities for the young people of Stagezone.
Christmas Show – 10.12.2022
At our Christmas Show, we performed a hand clapping choreographed Christmas song. We danced, sang and acted scenes with a partner/group. The programme included both Christmas and non-Christmas items and the hall was full! Everyone definitely sparkled and shone and it was so lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves and having fun. Thank you for all the lovely comments received, it has been an absolute pleasure working with these talented young people.
Talent Workshop – 27.08.2022
We had such a lot of fun at our Talent Workshop. It was lovely finding out about your talents and your confidence was absolutely amazing! We also played some drama games too!
Greatest Show Workshop- 07.08.2022
At our Greatest Show Workshop we started to learn a song and some choreography. We also had fun playing some games involving popcorn, and we designed a poster. Thank you to everyone who came along.
Summer Show – 09.07.2022
Our summer show was a great success! Here are a few comments which were received from parents and friends who came along to see us. “It was awesome”. “Today was amazing – thank you for all your hard work”. “Lovely show”. “Thank you all so much for everything – you are all amazing”. “It was a joy to watch – thank you for a wonderful show”.

Party In The Park – 14.05.2022
Stagezone were asked to perform at the Party in the Park at Carnon Downs on 14.5.2022 to celebrate the opening of Pengelly Meadows Recreation Area. What a beautiful day! Thank you to everyone who took part.
Cats Musical Workshop – 20.03.2022
At our Cats Workshop, we had such a lot of fun learning about all things cats. We danced, we sang and we decorated cat masks too!

We played Christmas music, Christmas games, and we wore our Christmas jumpers. We were all definitely in the Christmas spirit!
Stagezone Super Self Squad – November 2020
Stagezone Youth Theatre ran 6 Zoom sessions at the end of 2020, as part of the new “Super Self Squad”, aimed at helping young people’s confidence and self-esteem, by exploring mindfulness and relaxation techniques, friendship issues and the importance of “self”.
Stagezone Zoom Halloween Party – 31.10.2020
On Saturday 31st of October 2020, some of our Stagezone members celebrated Halloween on a Zoom call! It was lovely to see everyone’s costumes and make-up – you all looked amazing! We played Halloween games such as Scavenger Hunt, Quizzes, Find the picture, Zoom in and Would You Rather, to name but a few! Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun.
